NJ Exit 3: Give someone an amazing holiday gift, or just take an I-95 pit stop yourself and try the Adventure Aquarium's "Swim with the Sharks" program. After a briefing and snorkeling lesson, you enter the Shark Realm "where you’ll come within inches of sand tiger sharks, sandbar sharks, nurse sharks and barracuda", and if that wasn’t enough to rattle your nerves, you are then allowed into the Sting Ray Lagoon to swim with and feed dozens of sting rays. To prove your bravery, a photo is taken and you are awarded the snorkel and mask for your memories. While there, you just gotta see the hippos. Though Button and Genny jump and float (can't swim) and seem so playful under water, they are the most dangerous animal to man and have no natural predators. NY Exit 1 or 2: Here’s a new idea in hotel guest amenities. Technology companies who want prospective customers to try their new products have turned to hotel chains for help. Sony and Fujifilm USA have teamed up with Rosewood Hotels and Resorts to offer guests the use of digital cameras and portable game consoles during their stays. On I-95, the first one I’ve found to offer this is the swanky Carlyle in New York City. They have the Fuji FinePix V10 digital camera, which is a pocket-size camera with four video games built into it. Go crazy taking pix of the Big Apple, and then they will download them for you to take home. For those of you in the Washington DC area, we will be appearing on WUSA-TV (CBS channel 9) on January 2 between 9-10 a.m. on the morning talk show. Then down in Savannah, GA we will be on WSAV-TV (NBC) on January 8th after 7 a.m. on the morning news.
Floridians and tourists can come visit us at the Snowbird Extravaganza on Tuesday and Wednesday January 30th-31st at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland FL. This is a huge FREE show including entertainment all day long: Ronnie Prophet, Tom Leadbeater, Canada's Three Tenors, Lesley Andrew, Branson Star, Barbara Fairchild, Suzanne Brown, and Chinese Arcrobats, etc. There are booths with information relevant to snowbirds and other Floridians too.
