Anyone within the viewing area of Comcast Cable TV in the Wilmington Delaware area can catch us live on May 18th between 9 and 10 am. We’ll be telling people how to have fun on the road. Let us know if you see us.

2 - Run Away to the Circus - May 18 - 21

Delaware Exit 1B: What fun only ½ mile off I-95 - take the opportunity to see the "Greatest Show on Earth". Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus comes to town Thursday, May 18 thru Sunday May 21 at the University of Delaware, Bob Carpenter Center. If you are buying a ticket, leave time for the FREE all-access pre-show to meet the animals and performers, learn circus tricks and enjoy a taste of the circus before the show even starts. Tel: 302-831-2257. For driving info and tickets: www.ticketmaster.com/venue/16392/ or www.ringling.com

3 - We Are The Road - May 18 - 21

If you live anywhere near the nation's capitol and you like to read, you would enjoy the opportunity to check out all the new books at Book Expo America, happening at the new Washington DC Convention Center on May 18th to 21st. The Expo has not been in Washington for years, so take this opportunity to stock up on free books and perhaps meet famous authors - like us. See if you can find us (and say hello) walking the convention floor dressed as I-95! www.bookexpoamerica.com

4 - Take a Step Back In Time - May 20 - June 18

VA Exit 126: The Virginia Renaissance Faire happens on weekends from May 20 to June 18, and you can watch staged shows (fire eaters, jugglers belly, dancers, musicians) throughout the “shire” as well as interact with cast members throughout the day. You can dress up and join in or just toddle around and watch weaving, potting, blacksmithing, etc. Watch out, since the military guild “recruits” guests to take care of the Queen when she shows up.(Get there before 11 so you can watch her arrival) Lake Anna Winery, 5621 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, VA Tel: 703-508-5036 www.varf.org

5 - Get Hooked on Fishing - June 10 - 11

This year's Free Fishing Days in New Jersey will be on Saturday and Sunday, June 10 and 11. All fishing enthusiasts can fish in any of New Jersey's public waters without a license or trout stamp. While no license is required all other regulations, including size and daily catch limits, remain in effect (any smallmouth or largemouth bass caught during this time (except in the Delaware River) must be released). Anglers can fish for stocked muskellunge, northern pike, walleye, striped bass hybrids, channel catfish and lake trout in New Jersey's larger lakes as well as brook, brown and rainbow trout released into the state's smaller streams and waterways. www.njfishandwildlife.com

6 - Need a Clean Restroom? - June 23

We give the New Jersey Turnpike high marks for their well designed bathrooms. If you are passing that way (or live nearby), on Friday June 23 we will be appearing at the “Spotlight on New Jersey” at the Molly Pitcher Service Center (between exits 8A and 8 going south) from 10 am to 3 pm. You might want to try out Dick Clark's AB Grill, the new family sit-down style restaurant. Sandra loved their french fries when she tried them in Columbus, Ohio. Please stop and say hello to us there and let us help you plan your journey.

7 - Eyes Wide Open

NC Exit 173: We were thrilled to find a real Starbucks Café at this Roanoke Rapids exit, since they are few and far between down South. You can grab one easily at many NJ Turnpike rest areas: NORTHBOUND: John Fenwick (between exits 1 and 2); Woodrow Wilson (between 7 and 7A); Joyce Kilmer (between 8A and 9); Grover Cleveland (between 11 and 12); SOUTHBOUND: Thomas Edison (between 12 and 11); Molly Pitcher (between 8A and 8); Richard Stockton (between 7A and 7). www.state.nj.us/turnpike/nj-vcenter-serv.htm

What's inside Drive I-95 :
Look ahead exit by exit to see which motels (with 800 numbers), gas stations, restaurants, campgrounds, 24-hour pharmacies, auto mechanics, radio stations or radar traps are there, and where you can stay with your pet. We share our stories of the road : history on I-95, museums, trivia, towns to explore or places to run the kids. These can be read for entertainment during the drive, and may entice you to stop, stretch your legs and discover someplace new.
